Katie Todd Band
A site designed for up-and-coming Chicago rockers Katie Todd Band. The band was beginning from a virtual zero point with regard to graphical style. Through conversations with the band, taking cues from some early photo sessions, and noting a predilection for star-based iconography we arrived at this design. Keeping the graphics minimal and the relying on single photographs on each page, we let the words and especially the music tell the story of Katie Todd Band.
The band also wanted a flash introduction to the site. The one I designed and built for them works as more than just a shiny barrier, giving the user an introduction to the band members, as well as the latest news. I also consulted on functionality with the developer who created the back-end system in PHP. :: Launch the Site ::
